This policy explains what information rockrecorder.com collects, why, and how long we keep it. The site is run by Rock Communications, LLC ("we", "us").
It covers this website only. The RockRecorder software runs on our customers' own servers, and the recordings it makes are covered by each customer's agreement with us, not by this policy.
What we collect
When you send the contact form: your name and email address, and, if you fill them in, your agency or company, phone number and message. We also record the time it was sent and your IP address.
When you visit any page: like most web servers, ours logs your IP address, the page you asked for, the date and time, and the browser you used.
That's all. The site doesn't use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and it doesn't load anything from other companies' servers.
How we use it
- To answer your message and follow up with you about RockRecorder.
- To stop spam and abuse of the contact form, using the IP address and time.
- To keep the site running and secure, using the server logs.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it except as described below.
Who else handles it
- Mailjet sends contact form messages to our email inbox.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it, such as in response to a subpoena or court order.
How long we keep it
- Contact form submissions are deleted from the website's server after 14 days.
- Server logs are deleted after 14 days.
- The email copy of your message, and any conversation that follows, is kept with our normal business correspondence.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we'll reply within 30 days.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because this site doesn't track visitors, the signal doesn't change anything here.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and only Rock Communications staff can get to the information it stores.
Children
The site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
