Security You Don't Have to Think About

Two-Factor Authentication

App-based 2FA with backup codes. Admins can enforce it for all users.

Encrypted Credentials

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions are encrypted. CSRF protection on every form.

Audit Logging

Every login, playback, and config change is logged with a timestamp and username.

Role-Based Access

Control who can listen to what. Permissions go down to the individual channel level.

SSL/TLS Encryption

All traffic runs over HTTPS with auto-renewing certificates. Nothing goes over the wire in plain text.

Rate Limiting

Login attempts are rate-limited. Try too many times and you're locked out.

At-Rest Drive Encryption

LUKS full-disk encryption is available at install time. If someone pulls the drive, the data is useless to them.

Built on Linux, Not Windows

No forced updates. No surprise reboots. No licensing fees. Just a recorder that stays on.

No Forced Updates

Updates happen when you say so. Not at 2am on a Tuesday when dispatch is running.

Small Footprint
